First of all, watercolor pencils are not really watercolor because the binder is different. The exact recipe seems to be a well kept secret, but the binder in the pencils dissolves when it is wet. The behavior of the pigment also differs from watercolor, so I am going to refer to these as water-soluble pencils instead. They are their own medium.
Sorry i got caught in editing and the post was prematurely posted . My point was i did not have enough colours and now reading Jessica's story I will invest in some good ones and continue the course . By the way I do have Inktense pencils too ,but I use those for working on fabrics - they are great for that !

I took Jessica's Skill Share course on using water soluble pencils. It created an " A-HA" moment for me. I highly recommend it!
